Personal Training is about Individualized Attention

by Coach Tommy

Let’s talk about the attention/value spectrum real quick.

For any professional service, you will pay more if you are looking for advice from a professional in the industry.

You will also pay more if you are receiving consistent, 100% attention from that professional.

On one side of the spectrum, you have FREE access to information. For those “do it yourselfers” out there, the amount of information is unlimited.

In fitness, you literally don’t have to spend a penny to get into fantastic shape. You could read up on exercise routines, go to a local public park, and get after it for zero cost.

On the other end of the spectrum, you have 100% individualized advice and attention.

In fitness, this means

  • Personal training
  • Custom nutrition prescription
  • Daily check-ins from your coach
  • 100% attention to your fitness needs

Whenever I speak to prospecting clients about personal training and goals, it is never a conversation about cost. It is always a conversation about value.

If you are a person that wants to receive the best results as quickly as possible, then there is no better service than personal training.

I have a question for you: How much do YOU VALUE the specific health goals you have for yourself?

Suppose you are a person that wants that individualized attention to your specific needs. In that case, you can get into the best shape in your life within three months. I am not joking with you.

But not everyone actually needs personal training.

For me personally, I need individualized attention for different areas of my health and wellness goals.

For example, when it comes to my actual fitness prescription, I have two different coaches that program for me remotely. That means they aren’t physically in the building with me counting my reps or constantly looking over me.

I don’t need daily accountability. I have very self-motivated when it comes to training.

BUT, I do pay for 1-on-1 nutrition coaching. That is where I need hands-on attention and accountability in my life. I know this about myself and pay a professional to make sure that I am on track to reach my goals because I can’t do it on my own.

So it doesn’t have to be “all or nothing” when it comes to individual attention.

In my 1-on-1 consultations with potential new members, we go through this discovery process to find where in your life you need the most attention.

Some people need the physical accountability of personal training.

Others just need it every once in a while.

Some people are so self-motivated that they don’t necessarily need individual attention and can jump into group classes and do exceptionally well.

Personal training can add A TON of value for you in areas where you need 100% individualized attention with your health.

Members at District H use personal training for:
