Here at District H our main goal/mission is to help you “Live Your Best Life”. This encompasses the whole you: your physical fitness, nutrition and lifestyle habits, mental and emotional health, stress management, you name it. We even have the words “Your Best Self” written on the windows of our building and we truly do believe we can help get you there. IF (and only if) you put in the work on your end to do so. As a coaching staff, we will always give you our 110% whenever you step foot in our building. But, I do want to get real with you all here, too. The key to success for you here at District H comes down to what YOU are willing to put in. So the question then becomes this: How can you expect to LIVE your best life as the best version of yourself, if you...

Dear District H Community! From the bottom of my heart, I want to say “Thank You” for contributing to such a wonderful cause. As a community we were able to raise $600 to assist veterans and give them the services they need to overcome the increasingly alarming disease of depression and potential for suicide. Every dollar contributed goes to potentially saving a life that served to protect our own. In Health, Tommy

“If you find a path with no obstacles, it probably doesn’t lead anywhere.” – Frank Clark When most people start their journey at District H, they think of 1044 Studewood Street as a place where they go and “do fitness.” We show up, we workout, we feel great, we share some laughs, and we leave. Over time, the experience starts to transform from the place where “we do fitness” to the place where “I get better at life.” One of our core values at District H is adopting or having a growth mindset. A growth mindset, as defined by American psychologist Dr. Carol Dweck, is defined as “the belief that your most basic abilities can be developed through dedication and hard work—brains and talent are just the starting point. This view creates a love for learning and a resilience that is essential for great accomplishment.” At District H, we believe...

District H Strength & Fitness takes a holistic approach to health and wellness. One of our pillars of health is nutrition. Our approach to nutrition includes primarily eating nutrient-dense whole foods without the dogma of following any particular “diet.” Nutrition is highly individualized and there isn’t a “one-size fit’s all” approach since nutrition takes into account genetics, dietary restrictions or preferences, as well as overall health and wellness goals. One of the more controversial topics in nutrition is supplements. Let me just say up front that most supplements are 100% unnecessary and most of the claims made by supplement companies are 100% marketing and not 100% backed in any sort of scientific evidence. Nonetheless, supplements can be useful for general health and wellness as well as performance. District H wants to be able to provide members with highly quality supplements that meet the following criteria: No proprietary ingredients Ingredients are...
