Our approach to nutrition includes primarily eating nutrient-dense whole foods without the dogma of following any particular “diet.”
Nutrition is highly individualized and there isn’t a “one-size fit’s all” approach since nutrition takes into account genetics, dietary restrictions or preferences, as well as overall health and wellness goals.
One of the more controversial topics in nutrition is supplements.
Let me just say up front that most supplements are 100% unnecessary and most of the claims made by supplement companies are 100% marketing and not 100% backed in any sort of scientific evidence.
Nonetheless, supplements can be useful for general health and wellness as well as performance. District H wants to be able to provide members with highly quality supplements that meet the following criteria:
- No proprietary ingredients
- Ingredients are backed by peer-reviewed scientific research and given in clinical dosages
- Third party tested to ensure purity and safety
- Cost-effective for members
