You can’t out-exercise a bad diet. Performance and results suffer when you do not have a good grasp on proper nutrition. CrossFit makes you accountable: The workouts are harder to get through if you eat hot wings and cookies the night before, but deep down we’ve known that we could do better.

Our Nutrition Program is a lot like our CrossFit and Personal Training Program in that it combines behavioral change with achievement to create successful habits that will empower you for the rest of your life.

District H Nutrition Program is managed by our in house Registered Dietitian, Sam Mackinnon. In addition to our 1:1 services mentioned below, we also provide Nutrition Seminars, Nutrition Challenges (4+ weeks options), and Corporate Wellness to District H Strength and Fitness as well as the Houston Community.

Tracking your progress? We are also the owners of an InBody270, which provides one of the most accurate breakdowns of body weight into fat mass, muscle mass, and water mass, calculates BMR and shows weight distribution. Our Nutrition Coaching Program at District H Strength & Fitness is individualized and designed to provide individuals with an easy, science-based approach to nutrition and wellness, using simple behavior modification strategies to create positive change without the stress of “dieting”. Imagine the confidence you could have walking into the grocery store or a restaurant knowing exactly what you should eat to not only feel great but look great too!

The internet is filled with a ton of noise regarding diet plans, recipe plans, and other information. There are a lot of programs out there telling you what NOT to eat or how to replace meals with supplements or a shake. Our goal is to help you confidently silence the noise by teaching you what to eat, using whole foods with limited ingredients. Through our teaching program, you will create life-long skills that you can pass on to others you love and care for.

Have specific health concerns? Sam has been a Registered Dietitian since 2011 and can help you with where to start and provide guidance along the way so you can safely reach your health goals. As a Registered Dietitian, Sam is qualified to solicit specific health/nutrition and nutritional counseling advice to you as an individual with whatever your health concern may be: diabetes, cancer, gastrointestinal conditions, pregnant/breastfeeding, hypertension, and more.
