On October 24th, we will be hosting a charity Hero WOD in support of the Trail to Zero Charity whose mission is to bring awareness, prevention, and treatment for suicides amongst the U.S. Veteran Community.
Trail to Zero Organization
In Honor of our U.S. Veterans, District H will be hosting the Hero WOD “Blake” in honor of our fallen soldiers and for those who continue to struggle with wounds of war. “Blake” is the following:
4 Rounds for Time:
- 100FT Overhead Walking Lunge (45# Plate/35# Plate)
- 30 Box Jumps (24″/20″)
- 20 Wall Ball Shots (20#/14#)
- 10 Handstand Push-Ups
We will be doing “Blake” for all three of our Saturday group classes, including ReBoot.
We are also collecting donations to support their cause. Our goal is to raise $300. You can find the donation link here:

This idea was originally brought to us by our very own Caryl Anselmini. She recently came on the District H Podcast to speak more about her involvement in the organization and what it has meant to her personally. Link to the podcast is here:
We look forward to seeing you October 24th. All family and friends are welcome.
